For Zak Leever, music isn’t just about self-expression—it’s a way towards self-empowerment and realizing one’s full potential. The artist, producer, songwriter went from his childhood of studying with some of the world's premier jazz musicians to officially remixing several dance hits during his time at Berklee College of Music including multiple A-Trak singles, Anna Lunoe, and Keys N Krates. Zak went on to debut original vocal-led music on Diplo & Friends on Radio 1 BBC, Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM, and competing alongside some of the world's most influential DJs at A-Trak’s Goldie Awards all before releasing his first original single.
Now Zak is releasing music in his own personal and reflective world—a kaleidoscopic vision of electronic bass, vintage synths, and intimate, reflective lyrics. Zak has seen recent successes with his unique productions and vocal chops, gaining popularity across several viral videos and building a new online follower base. He has received regular support from DJs and tastemakers across the globe, and his singles have found their home on Spotify editorial playlists like Chill Tracks, Metropolis, Heart Beats, and more. Zak continues to develop his sound while working on his debut EP, select productions, and collaborations with artists who inspire him.
